These Hello Kitty Lucky Amulets / Lucky Charms are from a Buddhist Temple in Wakayama, Japan called Kiimidera. It's the only place to buy them. The temple is famous for having a giant golden Budhha statue as tall as a three-story building. In the myths and legends the actual Buddha this statue was modeled after is supposed to have 1000 arms but I counted around 60 on the statue. The image of Hello Kitty on the Amulet is designed in the style of that Buddha, too! There's also a Rilakkuma amulet where Rilakkuma is wearing a rabbit costume (because 2023 is the year of the Rabbit). I have to walk up approx. 200 steps on a mountain to reach the temple and get these!! I put in hard work to get you all the best Japan products lol

It will be sent directly from me in Japan to you, with tracking from the Japan Postal service. The original white/red paper bag from the temple will be included.

Keep it in your bag or attached to the outside to benefit from its protection.

About Omamori:

Omamori is generally translated as an amulet, or good luck charm, and comes from the Japanese word mamoru (守る ), meaning to protect. The amulet contains prayers written on paper and sealed inside small pouches of embroidered brocade. The pouch is usually rectangular with a short strap to attach to your personal items. Many shrines and temples take pride in the designs of their omamori and incorporate unique details and colors in the design. Ideally, the owner of an omamori is supposed to carry it with them in order to both protect against bad luck and usher in the good.
